Stellar Blade: Drone Upgrade Module Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Stellar Blade, your drone is Eve’s most versatile asset, transitioning from a simple scanner into a deadly weapon. To unlock its full potential, you must collect Drone Upgrade Modules.
These specialized resources are used at any Repair Console (found in Supply Camps or Lily’s workshop) to upgrade your ammunition capacity, hacking level, and scanning efficiency, eventually turning the drone into a tool for exploration and combat.
These modules are primarily obtained by destroying small scavenger robots that behave much like the "Crystal Lizards" from Dark Souls—they will attempt to flee and self-destruct if you don't destroy them quickly.
You can also find modules in high-security crates or purchase a limited stock from D1G-g2r at the Scrap Yard in the Wasteland.
To be sure you aren't left underpowered for the final chapters, you should prioritize the Hacking Tool and Scanner upgrades early on. These allow you to open high-tier chests and locate hidden items more effectively in open regions like the Wasteland and the Great Desert.
Be careful of the "points of no return" following the Abyss Levoire and Spire 4 missions; once these areas are cleared, you will be locked out of several regions containing these modules.
